Privacy notice
Proper Deals sends a daily list of UK LEGO prices by email and on Telegram. This is what we do with your details. Last updated 30 October 2026.
Who we are
Proper Deals is the data controller for the details below. Contact: [CONTACT EMAIL]. Post: [POSTAL ADDRESS].
What we collect
For the email list: your email address, the date you signed up, and whether each email was delivered, opened or had a link clicked (our email provider records this). We don't ask for your name.
For the Telegram channel: nothing. Joining is between you and Telegram. As channel owner we can see a count of members, not who you are. Telegram's own privacy policy covers your account.
Links to shops carry a short code saying which list the click came from (for example, the daily email). It records the list, not you.
Why, and on what basis
We use your email address only to send you the daily list. The lawful basis is your consent, given when you sign up. You can withdraw it at any time.
Unsubscribing
Every email has an unsubscribe link. One click and you're off the list. You can also email [CONTACT EMAIL]. Leave the Telegram channel from Telegram itself.
Who else sees it
Our email provider [EMAIL PROVIDER] stores and sends the list on our behalf, under a contract that stops them using it for anything else. We never sell, rent or swap your details, and we don't pass them to shops.
How long we keep it
Until you unsubscribe. After that we keep your address on a suppression list only so we never email you again by mistake; anything else is deleted within 30 days. If an address hasn't opened an email in 12 months, we remove it.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Write to [CONTACT EMAIL] and we'll answer within a month. If you're not happy with our answer you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies of its own and uses no tracking scripts. The signup form is provided by [EMAIL PROVIDER]; if it sets a cookie, it's listed here before launch.
